Description
A scarce map of New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Maine, New Hampshire and Connecticut. Canada extends south to the Pennsylvania border. Published by E. Bowen from A Complete System of Geography. Decorated with a title cartouche, a compass rose and mileage scale.
New Jersey in divided into the provinces of East and West Jersey. The Pennsylvania is defined as the undeveloped lands to the west of the Susquehanna River. The St. Lawrence River is shown emanating from an enormous Lake Ontario. The lands to the East of the Susquehanna River as far as the Delaware River are assigned to the Philadelphia Company.
The inland borders between the Massachusetts Bay Colony, Connecticut, and New York are indistinct. Canada extends south to the Pennsylvania border. Bowen, identifies the important Cod fishing Shoals off New Hampshire, Cape Cod, and Nantucket. Including notations regarding the events that occurred near around 1746 Albany, New York, during King Georges War, third of the four French and Indian Wars.
One notation tells of the inhumane murder of Col. Schuyler by the French and Indians in 1746.

Shipping
Maps are shipped in solid tubes or flat between solid cardboard. Fully insured, signature required, and with online tracking. Shortly after shipment, you will get the tracking number by email.The standard is that we ship items by UPS or DHL for European destinations, and a flat shipping fee is added to each shipment. It is a one-time fee even if you buy multiple items. This fee covers shipping and insurance (up to the invoice amount) to:
- North America, Canada, Europe $ 30
- Asia $ 40
- For South America, Mauritius, Africa and Australia a shipping fee of $ 50 will be charged.
We charge only a one-time shipping fee if you have won 2 or more items.
