Bifolium Leafs on vellum from a French Book of Hours.

This vellum leaf is from an early Breviary written in northern France or Flanders. The text is written in clear gothic print in black and red ink, with a large initial in red and blue penwork. The text is on one side surrounded by lovely borders containing flowers done in red, blue and burnished gold. ( the given size is of one side of 1 leaf )
