Description
Map of southern Italy focusing on the county of Molise and the surrounding principalities of Ultra, Capitanata and Lavoro. Each was an administrative unit under the Kingdom of Two Sicilies, with historical significance dating to the early 13th century. Major cities in each region are noted with red highlights including Isernia in Molise, Naples in Terra di Lavoro, Avellino in Principato Ultra and Lucera in Capitanata. The map has a colorful cartouche with ornamental crests and a colorful scale. Parts of the Adriatic and Tyrrhenian Seas are shown, the latter decorated with sailing ships.
Joan Blaeu (1596-1673) was a Dutch cartographer and son of cartographer and publisher William Janszoon Blaeu.
After the passing of his father in 1638, Joan and his brother Cornelius took over the family publishing company and brought it to fame being the leading European publishing company of the 17th century.
In 1638 Joan Blaeu because the official cartographer for the Dutch East India Company and severed on the Amsterdam City Council from 1651 to 172.

Shipping
Maps are shipped in solid tubes or flat between solid cardboard. Fully insured, signature required, and with online tracking. Shortly after shipment, you will get the tracking number by email.The standard is that we ship items by UPS or DHL for European destinations, and a flat shipping fee is added to each shipment. It is a one-time fee even if you buy multiple items. This fee covers shipping and insurance (up to the invoice amount) to:
- North America, Canada, Europe $ 30
- Asia $ 40
- For South America, Mauritius, Africa and Australia a shipping fee of $ 50 will be charged.
We charge only a one-time shipping fee if you have won 2 or more items.
