Description
[Two maps] First map is a decorative, large map including Flanders and Zeeland. The map, originally engraved in 1641 for Sanderus Flandria Illustrata, and was used at different times in Blaeu's various atlases.
It is a highly detailed map, showing many place names, and many decorative features are highlighted in the North Sea.
The second map shows Flanders with all its fortified cities, roads, forests and even the tiniest of villages. The map combines the work of two of the leading cartographers of the 18th century.
It was originally drawn by Guillaume Delisle and published in France with the title, Carte du Comte de Flandre, this is an English edition published by John Senex in London. Senex produced books maps, globes, navigational instruments, and worked in partnership with a number of other prominent cartographers of the day.

Maps are shipped in solid tubes or flat between solid cardboard. Fully insured, signature required, and with online tracking. Shortly after shipment, you will get the tracking number by email.The standard is that we ship items by UPS or DHL for European destinations, and a flat shipping fee is added to each shipment. It is a one-time fee even if you buy multiple items. This fee covers shipping and insurance (up to the invoice amount) to:
- North America, Canada, Europe $ 30
- Asia $ 40
- For South America, Mauritius, Africa and Australia a shipping fee of $ 50 will be charged.
We charge only a one-time shipping fee if you have won 2 or more items.
