Description

First edition. - D'Après de Mannevillette (1707-1780) was a famous French sailor and hydrographer. During a voyage to China in 1728 he succeeded in correcting the latitudes of many places using new instruments. When he returned to France he devised a plan to correct and publish all the existing maps of the route to China : the Red Sea, the coasts of India, Malaya, the northern parts of Indonesia, Indochina and China. His "Neptune Oriental" appeared in 1745, containing 25 maps. A second edition was published in 1775 with 59 maps and a third in 1775-1781.

With 25 large engraved charts of which 13 are double-page and 18 full-page.

Shipping

Maps are shipped in solid tubes or flat between solid cardboard. Fully insured, signature required, and with online tracking. Shortly after shipment, you will get the tracking number by email.
The standard is that we ship items by UPS or DHL for European destinations, and a flat shipping fee is added to each shipment. It is a one-time fee even if you buy multiple items. This fee covers shipping and insurance (up to the invoice amount) to:
- North America, Canada, Europe $ 30
- Asia $ 40
- For South America, Mauritius, Africa and Australia a shipping fee of $ 50 will be charged.
We charge only a one-time shipping fee if you have won 2 or more items.
