Description
First edition of the plan of the city of Florence by Ferdinando Ruggieri. Decorated with a title cartridge, a dedication cartouche decorated with the coat of arms of the Grand Duchy of Tuscany and the coat of arms with the fleur-de-lys of the city of Florence, and four cartouches corresponding to the four quarters of the city containing the number of churches, monasteries, hospitals and theatres per district.
This Florence plan, drawn up by Ferdinando Ruggieri, a Florentine architect at the Court of the Grand Duchy of Tuscany, is the result of the most important topographical survey carried out in the last years of the Medici period in Florence.
A second edition was published in 1755, for which the dedication cartouche was replaced by the coat of arms of the Grand Duchy of Tuscany. The north is at the bottom of the plan.

Shipping
Maps are shipped in solid tubes or flat between solid cardboard. Fully insured, signature required, and with online tracking. Shortly after shipment, you will get the tracking number by email.The standard is that we ship items by UPS or DHL for European destinations, and a flat shipping fee is added to each shipment. It is a one-time fee even if you buy multiple items. This fee covers shipping and insurance (up to the invoice amount) to:
- North America, Canada, Europe $ 30
- Asia $ 40
- For South America, Mauritius, Africa and Australia a shipping fee of $ 50 will be charged.
We charge only a one-time shipping fee if you have won 2 or more items.
