Description
Marshall Plan poster published by the services of the mission specializing in France the E.C.A. colored map of the regions of France where the economic activities benefiting from the Marshall Plan are reflected by drawings. Paris plan in an insert in upper right corner. In the back we can see the American flag. The lower part is the legend of the pictorial signs drawn on the map, and information.
This is one of the 1950 posters of the “Intra-European Poster Competition” promoting the Marshall Plan to reconstruct Europe after World War II.
The poster contest received over 10,000 submissions from European artists, all on the theme of European cooperation which ultimately would lead to the European Union.
Although support came from the U.S, the competition was designed to be by Europeans and for Europeans, with an intra-European jury choosing the finalists and winner (only 7 finalist posters are in English, the others are in French, Dutch German and Swedish.)

Shipping
Maps are shipped in solid tubes or flat between solid cardboard. Fully insured, signature required, and with online tracking. Shortly after shipment, you will get the tracking number by email.The standard is that we ship items by UPS or DHL for European destinations, and a flat shipping fee is added to each shipment. It is a one-time fee even if you buy multiple items. This fee covers shipping and insurance (up to the invoice amount) to:
- North America, Canada, Europe $ 30
- Asia $ 40
- For South America, Mauritius, Africa and Australia a shipping fee of $ 50 will be charged.
We charge only a one-time shipping fee if you have won 2 or more items.
Hold Shipment Service
