Description
An extremely scarce atlas which records the Russian campaign of 1812 and the continuation of the French army in Poland in 1813. Starting with a engraved title page in German and French, followed by a double page map "Karte von dem gegenwaertigen Kriegs=schauplatz oder einem Theil des Russischen Reichs Leipzig bey Schreibers Erben, 1812".
The map is followed by 12 identical single page engraved maps of Poland: however each map is numbered in manuscript in red ink from 1 - 12, each map is colored by hand showing the Russian campaign movements from 15th June 1812, 19th June, 4th August, 15th August, 27th August, 15th September, 8 November, 18-18th November, 26 & 27th November, 28th November.
Plate 13 and 14 are double page maps "Schauplatz des Kriegs" (300x271mm.) showing the French movements from 6 - 12 January 1813 and 14 - 16 January 1813.
At the end one plate with plans on one plate, "Warschau und Pragamit seinen neuen Bevestigungen 1812", Fort von Dünamünde 1812", "Thorn", Kreml in Moskau 1812.
The French title reads "Theatre de la Guerre en Pologne et Russie representant les divers Marches, Mouvements, Convois et Postions des Armees Françaises et Russes du Commencement de la guerre (du 22 Jain 1812), Jusqu'au Selon les Relations de Bulletins francais. Remarque. La couleur rouge désigne les armées françaises, la couleur verte armées russes etc."

Maps are shipped in solid tubes or flat between solid cardboard. Fully insured, signature required, and with online tracking. Shortly after shipment, you will get the tracking number by email.The standard is that we ship items by UPS or DHL for European destinations, and a flat shipping fee is added to each shipment. It is a one-time fee even if you buy multiple items. This fee covers shipping and insurance (up to the invoice amount) to:
- North America, Canada, Europe $ 30
- Asia $ 40
- For South America, Mauritius, Africa and Australia a shipping fee of $ 50 will be charged.
We charge only a one-time shipping fee if you have won 2 or more items.
