Tombleson’s Panoramic Map of the Thames and Medway London Published by G.W.Bacon & Co Ltd 127 Strand.
Attractive steel engraving of the rivers Thames and Medway from its source at Cirencester in Gloucestershire to the estuary at Southend with detail of the towns and countryside through which it passes.
A beautiful example of one of the finest maps of the Thames. The map is part of a 46 page booklet. The map is in eight separate sections with the last page pasted to the back cover and larger than the previous seven sections.
The map was published by G.W.Bacon, while the outer cover of the booklet bears the name Farrer & Sons Booksellers & Stationers Broad St London Road and Oxford Road Reading. A scarce edition.
Each section measures 230 x 175 mm giving an overall length of approximately 1400 mm.

Shipping
Maps are shipped in solid tubes or flat between solid cardboard. Fully insured, signature required, and with online tracking. Shortly after shipment, you will get the tracking number by email.The standard is that we ship items by UPS or DHL for European destinations, and a flat shipping fee is added to each shipment. It is a one-time fee even if you buy multiple items. This fee covers shipping and insurance (up to the invoice amount) to:
- North America, Canada, Europe $ 30
- Asia $ 40
- For South America, Mauritius, Africa and Australia a shipping fee of $ 50 will be charged.
We charge only a one-time shipping fee if you have won 2 or more items.
