Three maps on one sheet. The first map covers northern part of Pomerania. The map of Livonia is prepared by Johannes Portanius, who was a contemporary of Ortelius who also lived in Antwerp.
The map of Oswieczensis is centered on the Carpathes.
Abraham Ortelius (1527-1598) was a cartographer and publisher, who is born and died in Antwerp. Published first modern uniform Atlas, Theatrum Orbis Terrarum (Atlas of the Whole World).
