Description
Very nice vellum leaf from a French Book of Hours, written in a regular Gothic book hand in Paris, around 1485. The leaf has a panel border on both sides with acanthus leaves, flowers and fruit in bright colors. The text is written in black ink, the rubrics are in blue. There is one large initial with a pretty painting of flowers inside on a gold back ground.
